As a manufacturing consultant, I embodied the qualities of drive, organization, and attention to detail. My expertise lay in root cause analysis, solution definition, collaboration facilitation, resolving conflicts, and effortlessly communication. I excelled at project management and thrived in dynamic environments where change was the only constant.
During these impactful 3 years, I supported over 30 different manufacturers on 3 continents with the goal of creating a robust, world-class supply chain. Every morning, I checked my email to see what supply crisis was awaiting for me to solve. Every day was a new adventure; I loved my job. I led integrated project teams to tackle supply chain problems such as supplier schedule recoveries, reduction in cost to meet budget goals, process improvements to drive out inefficiencies, and capacity assessments to avoid expensive capital expenditures. At every step of this supply chain journey, I walked shoulder to shoulder with my external supplier teammates to educate and train them on the importance of Lean manufacturing, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Overall Equipment Effectiveness, Total Preventative Maintenance to ensure that upon my departure, our solutions were sustained by the supplier. Working in the aerospace industry, my wins were calculated in the millions of dollars which created a highly rewarding career resulting in formal recognition by Boeing Leadership for my support of production system assessments, solution development, and rapid implementation.
