2018 - 2020

I love the anticipation of boarding a flight to somewhere new, the challenge of navigating cities with unreadable street signs, and the thrill of tasting foods I don’t recognize. I love connecting with people whose childhoods feel worlds away from my own. I love the freedom to transform outside the confines of daily life. There’s excitement in planning a big trip, and a warm nostalgia in revisiting memories and photos afterward. Out of this passion, Vamos Travels was born—to bridge the gap between travelers and the adventures they dream of, through custom-curated itineraries.

I began by using design thinking to define my target audience, conducting global interviews with potential users through social media. Drawing inspiration from successful companies like Journy and Airbnb Experiences, I developed a concept and brought it to life as a minimum viable prototype. Each mistake became a learning opportunity, shaping a user-centered product line that evolved with every iteration. In total, Vamos Travels delivered custom itineraries for over 20 travelers, creating unique experiences across 8 countries on 3 continents.

In 2020, in the face of the challenges of the COVID-19 crisis, I closed the doors to this endeavor.
